I've complained many things on my blog and on Twitter over the past couple of years. Whether it was about ignorant people on the internet or me being stupid and got over hunger, I'm sure I've covered almost every section of being a whinner. One thing I didn't mention much, though, was that I was living at a place with extremely poor wifi.
See, my landlord actually provide all my utilities. It was a great deal, considering I only pay $550 for rent. The problem though was starting day 1 living here, my internet connection was very inconsistent. At times I couldn't even log on. I've had talks with them a few times about the issue, but as they are not very good at computer, they only know to call the internet provider to ask for help, in which they always came back to me saying there's nothing they can do.
I like to think that I'm a patient person, but as my freelance work, entertainment and a huge part of my life depends on the internet, there were many times I got very frustrated. The saving grace has always been my wifi hotspot from my iPhone, which I can use my 6Gb data to act as emergency internet (I used it once to watch America's Next Top Model, it was urgent).
Ever since Christmas though, things had gone from bad to worse. So I had a talk with them again. Letting them know if the internet provider said it's not their problem, then it could be the router is getting old. Turned out they were thinking about the same thing, and I found out their router was there since they own their place... which means it was 10+ years old! Well, that explained EVEYRTHING.
Tonight, I got a text from my landlord that said they've replaced the router, and guess what? I'M LIVING IN THE 21ST CENTURY AGAIN! Feel free to send me large files, I can take them now.
#31/365 – Wifi

That would be so frustrating!
I can't handle 5 minutes without the internet without having a meltdown. There have been some nights where it goes completely (thank you sucky Comcast) and I am in a pissy mood the whole night. Mainly it's because I pay for it and they never reimburse for days it doesn't work.
Buddhafied: Oh trust me, I had my share of frustration when it wasn't working properly, but like I said, I were able to substitute with something else and the problem isn't very consistent, that's how I managed to last for 2 years!
