1. Humphrey is actually my real first name. It is on my birth certificate as my first name, whereas my Chinese name is my middle name.
2. I was born in Hong Kong, but I left there when I was ten years old.
3. I currently live in Vancouver, Canada, rated as the "Best City to Live" by the EIU.
4. I have been a Buddhist since I was 16 years old.
5. The shortest international stay I've ever made was to see a concert in Hong Kong. I departed on December 25, 2003 and arrive back in Vancouver on January 1, 2004.
6. It was for Faye Wong's 2003 concert. My best friend, Jason, bought the concert for me and said all I need is the flight ticket.
7. I finally shake her hand after four different attempts duirng the concert. I screamed "you're so beautiful" while doing it.
8. I have a five stitches scar on the back of my head from a car accident.
9. I have all Nintendo video-game consoles other than the Virtual Boy.
10. I spent 129 hours finishing Final Fantasy X, unlocking all the secrets of the game.
11. I've had birds, turtles, chickens, roosters, rabbits, fish, cats and dogs as pets.
12. My monk name is pronounced "Keen Fung" in Cantonese, "Qien Fung" in Madarin, and "Kahou" in Japanese.
13. I graduated from High School with an A average.
14. I graduated from Simon Fraser University with a BA in Economics and Publishing.
15. My CGPA and GPA has a difference of 0.6 points.
16. I have quit eating squid (my favourite food when I was young) since age eleven, though I can not remember why, but I remember swearing my parents' lives for it. I resumed eating squid after my Buddhist pilgrimage because I think if anything, the curse should have lifted by then.
17. I am an arachnophobia.
18. Thanks to "Keyboarding 9" at Mary Hill Secondary School (which no longer exist), my average typing speed is around 80wpm and gets above 90wpm if I’m just copying pre-printed text.
19. I was allergic to perfume until I was around 20 years old.
20. My natural hair color is black, but most people remember me from my neon orange hair or my blonde hair from 1998 to 1999.
21. When I was a kid, I said I wanted to be an astronomer - until I learned that getting top score in Math doesn't mean you can do physics. By the time my Physics 12 teacher was teaching circular momentum, I was so lost I walked up to him and told him I have to quit.
22. I have all ten seasons of "Friends" DVDs.
23. I do not like deserts. Chocolate, ice-cream and cheesecake are pretty much the only non-fruit sugar based product I like... oh and gummy bears!
24. When I was a kid, my front right tooth was on a 45 degree angle. I went to a dentist and she pulled it with a floss, and for the next two months, the teeth gradually shift back to its normal position.
25. I love Sci-Fi to a certain degree, though I never liked StarWars.
26. But I think I'm slowly being converted into a Trekie.
27. I started kindergarten when I was two years and 8 months old. My parents had to beg the principal so that I don't have to start at three years old.
28. I learned how to write my Chinese name (consists of 41 strokes) when I was two years old, using the Magnet Magic Doodle board.
29. According to my mom, I broke more than ten Magic Doodle boards when I was a kid.
30. I love people with facial hair.
31. I generally don't shave for three weeks and nobody can really tell the difference.
32. My mother tongue is Cantonese, though I can speak Mandarin fluently.
33. I took French for two years when I was in Junior High. The only complete sentence I can say now (other than introducing myself) is "nous avons attendu dans la salon." Roughly translated to "We waited in the room". It was one of my lines from a short skit.
34. I was told during puberty that if I play basketball everyday I will grow tall. I did that ever day for 3 years and I am now 5′6″.
35. I knew I was gay since I was 13 years old.
36. I have never smoke or do drugs. The closest I've ever been with a cigarette was to get burned by one of them on my arm when I was 6 years old.
37. I am a licensed security patrol in the province of British Columbia, and I have a certificate for Occupational First Aid level III.
38. My Chinese name roughly translates to: to talk about the warmth and brightness of the sun during dawn.
39. I've dated 6 people in my life.
40. They have an average age of 35.67 years, based on the age when I first met them.

43. My favourite colour was yellow before I was 12; black when I was 13-17; orange and forest green since 17.

47. My car ran out of gas completely three times, once on Valentine's Day.
48. I have very short memories for cars. I can be car-pooling with someone for over two years and I won't be able to tell what colour his/her car is.
49. That's why I have had a VW Beetle now before.
50. I was suspended from driving for three months because I got 6 speeding tickets within a year. My car was towed away three blocks away from my house. The officer was kindly enough to drive me home while I was trying to think of a way to ask him in for a coffee.
51. I was the programmer to launch Jackie Chan's official website in year 2000.
52. I've self-taught myself almost everything about computer.
53. Samwise Gamgee is my favourite Lord of the Rings character.
54. Because of that I fell in love with Sean Astin.

57. I won a singing contest at age 7. I sang the theme song of "Creamy Mami"
58. I was the president of Chinese Student Union in SFU in 1998-1999.

60. I am capable of lucid dreaming - these are dreams in which you are "conscious" of the dream-state and can control your actions in the dream, and even alter the dream itself.
61. I can always fly in my dreams... actually, more like I can glide.
62. I had a nightmare involving the Seasame Street characters when I was young, ever since I never like them.
63. I bought my first computer on 1998, it died on 2001. I still have the hard-drive hoping one day I can find someone to fix it.
64. I was not living at home until I was 3 years old because my parents was too busy working and couldn't take care of me.
65. They only picked me up and took me home one day per week.
66. Maybe because of that, subconsciously, the biggest fear I have is to be abandoned.
67. My dog Cleo, whom past away in March 2011, used to be owned by my ex-boyfriend, Michael. I made him promised me if he ever need to give her up for any reasons, I can take over her. I got her on 2005 and that was one of the best days of my life.
68. Till this day, I cannot remember what happened the night when Michael and I broke up. It got blocked in my memories. All I remember was crying in the shower the next day.
69. My longest relationship was with Scott. Getting over him was the most painful experience I ever had in my life.
70. As much as it was painful, I will not change anything that had happened, other than one incident that I will regret for the rest of my life.
71. I slept on an air mattress for 7 months and 12 days after the break up. I almost had a melt-down at Ikea when finally ready to pickup my sofabed.
72. I have learned more things about myself, my friends and life in the one year after the breakup than all the years I've lived combined.
73. I still have my stuffed toy Snoopy that I have since I was six years-old.

79. The most I've ever weighed is 118 120 126 lbs.
80. I've gained 10 20 lbs since I worked for my current job.
81. My favourite teacher is still Mr. Murphy - my first elementary school teacher in Canada.
82. He used to tell me that my smile worth a million dollars. I think about him saying that to me whenever I forget to smile.
83. I called Mr. Murphy two weeks before my university graduation to thank him for everything he taught me and told him what a wonderful teacher he was. He still remembered me.
84. I have been near-sighted since I was 8 years old.
85. My current eye prescriptions are: -5.00 -5.25 left; -5.25 -5.75 right.
86. I remember numbers by how they sound.
87. My favourite alcoholic drink is Caesar (with a few pieces of celleries or beans will be perfect).
88. During my high-school years, my friends and I used have pop-Tequila all the time. None of us can stand the smell of of Tequilas anymore let alone drinking.
89. Same goes for Smirnoff Ice.
90. I have lived in 9 different apartments from 1998 - 2007 10 different places from 1998 to 2008.
91. I do not like sandwiches, subs. In fact, I don't like bread, period.
92. Except for warm bread with butter.
93. I want to be married one day.
94. I have already picked my kids' name: Emma if a girl, Nathaniel if a boy, although I don't think I'll want kids.
95. I have been using the alias Sorata since I first use the internet.
96. Sorata Arisugawa was a character in a Japanese manga called "X". He was a Shingon buddhism monk from Koyasan. I picked the name as a random choice, coincidently, I got involved with the same religion as him a few years later.
97. I am now more known as Buddhafied, which was explained here.
98. I can die (literally) for the people/things I love.
99. I try very hard to not be prejudice towards anyone/anything.
